Plucked from the highest shelves and farthest reaches from our vast collection, these are chocolates you never knew existed, and like any new discovery, reshapes the way you see (and taste) the world. Equal parts nostalgia and adventure, the culmination of decades of travel, and a gentle, searching, hunger. The flavor of chocolate, much like wine, is deeply influenced by the terroir of the region where the cacao is grown. Factors such as origin and growing conditions create significant variations in taste, which will become apparent as you embark upon your tasting journey!

Since 2006, we’ve specialized in flowers, craft finishing salts, artisan-made chocolates, vermouths, cocktail bitters and, more recently, a growing collection of pantry goodies. Over the years we’ve had the honor of showcasing chocolate makers from all over the world dedicated to intentionally sourcing cacao by sustainable and ethical means through direct trade. Direct trade ensures local farmers at the heart of cacao production are fairly compensated for their labor and have the power to invest back into their land and communities.
